Description:
Tim Darnell emailed me that this is an ex-PRR heavyweight parlor, now at the Cincinatti Museum in Covington, KY. John Deasy added: SOUTH SHORE, the commuter club car you photographed laying over at Speonk, was indeed a former Pullman heavyweight 12 section 1 drawing room sleeper which LIRR acquired from PRR circa 1957. I don't know if the conversion from sleeper to commuter club car was done before or after LIRR acquired the car from PRR.
