METX 126, South Shore Randolph Strret Station  Contributor's Pick!
In the early 1980s the South Shore was very short on usable passenger cars. Often a Metra train substituted for an inbound morning, outbound afternoon round trip as seen here. Since the train could not use high-level platforms, temporary low-level exits were constructed. Eact day of month not recorded.
